Valley Dance Ensemble presents an evening of modern dance featuring original choreography, including the work of guest choreographers Lori Higbee and Amber Wade. Explore a range of movement possibilities inspired by paranoia, motherhood, the push/pull of decision making, the beauty of chaos, and monsters under the bed. ABOUT VALLEY DANCE ENSEMBLE (VDE)
Since 1983, VDE has been Cache Valley’s sole modern dance organization, and serves a dual purpose in the community through our community dance school and our performing companies. Our community dance school offers creative movement and modern dance classes for children 3 to 16. These classes encourage movement exploration and the creative process. We also offer modern dance and African dance for adults. Our classes strive to offer something for every member of the community, regardless of age or skill level. Our adult and junior performing companies give the committed dancer an opportunity for more in-depth study of the art of modern dance through experiences in choreography and performance.
