Straight from the Big Easy, Preservation Hall Jazz Band is here to Celebrate Fat Tuesday with a selection of old-fashioned jazz mingled with a few Creole melodies and familiar tunes. Established in 1961, Preservation Hall Jazz Band is dedicated to keeping one of America's most precious and creative resources alive: New Orleans Jazz. The musicians, who range in age from 29 to 88, keep the music alive by sharing it with the world. From Carnegie Hall or Lincoln Center to Thailand, PHJB has been touring since 1963. Under the direction of Ben Jaffe, the son of founders Allan and Sandre, Preservation Hall Jazz Band makes their way to Logan, Utah for another fabulous jam session.
