Broadcast Arts and Media (BAM!)

at the Cache Valley Center for the Arts is a comprehensive digital academy offering courses in photography, filmmaking, digital audio and radio. Small class sizes, only up to 10 per class.

  Intro to Video Editing & Filmmaking  
 

This class will focus on video editing and introduce filmmaking concepts as they relate to the process of editing. We will start by learning how to use Final Cut Pro. Students need to be familiar with computers and basic copy and pasting techniques. After we have learned how to use the interface, we'll then focus on telling a story and exploring conceptual editing.

*6 student minimum enrollment.

An all-inclusive 15-week course of computer applications in music with John Carter. This is a Utah State University concurrent course, which is also open to the public.

NOTE: Current USU students seeking course credit should enroll through the University.

*5 student minimum enrollment.

CVCA CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY: If you must cancel your registration for a CVCA class, please do so ONE WEEK PRIOR to the starting date of the session for which you’ve enrolled. We cannot issue a refund once the class has started. Also note that there is a 10% administrative fee for all cancellations, which will be deducted before your payment is refunded.
