
The Alliance for the Varied Arts resided in the Thatcher-Young Manison from July 24, 2002 to June 30, 2010 when they closed. The Thatcher-Young Mansion is still owned by the City of Logan and managed and operated by the Cache Valley Center for the Arts, an indepndent non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
ABOUT THE AVA
The Alliance for the Varied Arts was a volunteer community arts organization that operated a gallery in the Thatcher-Young Mansion and offered a variety of artistic opportunites and creative classes for the benefit of the general public. The classes offered by the AVA were merged into CVCA's programming on July 1, 2010. Classes continuing at the center include ceramics, dance, drama, music, and visual arts for children and adults.

THATCHER-YOUNG MANSION
The Thatcher-Young Mansion is managed by the Cache Valley Center for the Arts. CVCA provides this space to the Alliance for the Varied Arts (AVA) to utilize permanently. In addition CVCA provides a children’s theatre, ceramic studio, and two dance studios in the Bullen Center for their dedicated use. The AVA works with local non-profits and individuals to teach these classes and in turn enrich their program offerings.
