Student matinee - February 20, 2007
Students experienced the magic of Jazz and its history with these Jazz greats. Celebrating Fat Tuesday in the Ellen Eccles Theatre opened the doors to understanding Jazz—America’s original musical art form.

Student matinee- March 1, 2007
Students of all ages drew inspiration from the Acadian culture. Expelled from Canada and ancestors of the Quebecois and Cajuns drew curricular ties to American, Canadian and British history, social studies, music, dance, literature, French language, and current events (Quebec annexation debate, Katrina/Louisiana).
